In 2009, the Old Mission Kiwanis Club celebrated its 50th anniversary of volunteer service to the community and of addressing unmet needs in and around Mission, Kansas. The club, recognized by Kiwanis International as a Distinguished Club in 2008-09, is a proud sponsor of the Key Club at Shawnee Mission North High School and of the Mission Aktion Club.

The Old Mission Kiwanis Club meets the second and fourth Tuesday of every month at 6:00 p.m. at Don Chilitos, 7017 Johnson Drive in Mission, Kansas.-
